Students in Y Pant School celebrated the best set of ‘A’ Level results the school has ever produced. A hugely impressive 34% of grades awarded were A grade, with a massive 85% of grades at A-C. Amongst these statistics, 12 students achieved 3 or more A grades with Sam Evans, Catrin Greaves, and Harriet Orrell attaining 4 A grades. John Rogers recorded an incredible 5 A grades! Furthermore, four students – Lauren Donovan, Lauren Selby, Alice Thompson and John Rogers – succeeded in their applications to study at Cambridge or Oxford Universities.
AS Level students enjoyed similar success with 10 students achieving at least 3 A grades. Tom Rowlands, Bethan Smyth and Kirstyn Udy went one better in being awarded 4 A grades.
Headteacher Stuart Tucker said, ‘We are all extremely proud of the achievements of our A level students. They have worked assiduously and demonstrated great talent and determination doing themselves and their families proud. They have a bright future ahead of them and I wish them all continued success in the years to come.’
