CoPE Group Re-colonise Kenfig!
Over a 3 day period in March and April this year the CoPE group volunteered their energies to work at Kenfig National Nature Reserve near Porthcawl. The team undertook several labour intensive tasks such as clearing scrub near the sand dunes to attract butterflies and bumble bees; digging holes to encourage new colonies of rabbits and also litter picking along the beach. Although the work was quite tiring the team realised their efforts would benefit both the wildlife in the area and visitors to the centre. Members of the team are: Kayleigh Cotter, Lloyd Evans, Luke Faiers, Laura Kelland, Nicole Letheby, Rebecca Llewellyn, Jordan Locke, Josh Mason, Peter Murphy, Curtis Simpkin.
