The following after-school sessions will be held for pupils to complete ICT coursework:

Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th March - room 14 with Mrs Lloyd-Davies.

Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th March - 3-5pm - room 1 with Miss Bunce.

Year 12 are attending a ‘Succeeding at AS Level ICT’ Conference at the University of Glamorgan on 31 st March. Guest speakers include Ed Dunhill of Microsoft, Senior Lecturer, Dr Geneen Stubbs and Dai Rudge, the WJEC Principal Examiner. A diverse range of topics include ‘Futuristic Computing’, Human Computer Interaction’, ‘Computer Forensics and Digital Evidence’ and ‘Intelligent Data Capture’. All this and a free lunch!! You’ve died and gone to ICT heaven…

GCSE Coursework deadline; March 20th (no coursework in lessons after March 6th)

April 27th; A Level 15 hour controlled test starts. All students must attend initial 3 hour session on this day; Room 14 with Mrs L-D

GCSE Paper 1 Theory Exam (Short and Full Course pupils)- May 19th

GCSE Paper 2 Theory Exam (Full Course pupils only)- June 5th

AS ICT1 Theory Exam – May 15th

A2 ICT4 Theory Exam – June 12th

There is a University of Glamorgan Faculty of Computing Taster Day on May 7th. We may attend subject to negotiations with Mr Tucker...fingers crossed...
