ambaa. is a group of five enthusiastic and dedicated year 11 girls from Y Pant Comprehensive School formed in June 2009. ambaa. wanted to take part in an experience which challenged them to set up and run a successful business so they decided to take part in Young Enterprise.

Group members : Bryony Fenton (Managing Director); Angharad Evans (Secretary and Design Manager); Abbey Bennett (Marketing Manager); Megan Anderson (Finance Manager) and Alice Robinson (Sales Manager).

Mission Statement

‘To design, make and sell unique, fun costume jewellery at an affordable price for the customer.’

RCT Area final 25th March 2010

After 8 months of trading the final trade day arrived with ambaa. competing against 10 other businesses at the University of Glamorgan Business School. The competition required the girls to complete 3 elements;

  • Produce a 10 page company report
  • Design a trade stand for judges to visit
  • A 5 minute presentation to judges, other competitors and guests

ambaa. performed well throughout all stages scoring highly and managing to come runner up in the ‘Best Company Report’ category.
