Year 8 Portraits

As part of the Painting and Drawing Unit, Year 8 students worked on the theme of Portraits. They had to carry out research by looking at various artists that had worked with portraits before developing their own ideas for their final piece. Students learnt how to develop their colour mixing, showing an understanding of proportion and experimenting with painting techniques for their final piece.
