After the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on 12th January, we held a fundraising day in Y Pant on Friday 5th February. Pupils were asked to donate £1 (or more) for wearing their own clothes to school. All money raised will go to the UNICEF Haiti Earthquake Childrens' Appeal.

We raised £1375.31 - well done everyone!

Where is Haiti?

Haiti is situated on an island in the Caribbean - just east of Cuba and south east of Florida. It is on the same island as the Dominican Republic (which many of you may have been to on holiday). It's a very poor country.
