Creating Folder (directory) structure
Folder Structure

You should take time now to sort out your folders on the network.

  1. Put all your year 7 and 8 work in a folder called ICT_Year7and8.
  2. Make sure all pictures are in the Pictures folder.
  3. Put all other work in appropriate folders.
  4. Create a new folder called ICT. Open that folder.
  5. Create 3 new folders called Project, Portfolio and From Public Drive.
  6. Open the Portfolio folder.
  7. Create 3 new folders called Communicating_Information, Data_Handling and Spreadsheet_Modelling.

All of your work for your portfolio should go in these 3 folders. If you copy any folders down from the public drive, put them into the From Public Drive folder unless your teacher tells you otherwise.
