1. Flash Text is a way of creating a kind of rollover image with text. You can then link the text to any document and that document will open when you preview it through a browser. Go to INSERT> MEDIA > FLASH TEXT and write something for your flash text in the dialogue box that appears. Select your font, colour and background colour and browse to the page you want to open when the text is clicked. It is a way of creating a hyperlink to a file or page. Select APPLY and then OK and the text will appear on the page. When you save your page and then preview in the browser, clicking the text should open the web page or URL that you chose.

2. A Flash Button is a ready made and designed button and you insert it into your web page in a similar way. This time choose Flash Button when you have gone into INSERT > MEDIA and a dialogue box like the one below will appear.
You can select from a list of ready made buttons and change the text on the button. You then browse to the file you want the button to open and it will work in a similar way to the Flash Text described in box 1 of this tutorial.
