Y Pant Girls’ Football Team beat Whitchurch & Cwmtawe!

U13 GIRLS BEAT WHITCHURCH!

The U13 girl’s football team continue their winning streak by beating Whitchurch 6-2 in the last 16 stage of the Welsh Schools Football Association Inter Schools Cup!   The girls now proceed to the quarter finals (last 8 in Wales). Congratulations to the whole team who played a fantastic game of football.  The goals were scored by Millie Jones (2), Carys Woodward (2), Olivia Enoch and Catrin Jones.

The U14 girl’s football team also continue their winning streak by beating Cwmtawe 3-1 in the last 16 stage of the Welsh Schools Football Association Inter Schools Cup!   The girls now proceed to the quarter finals (last 8 in Wales). Congratulations to the whole team who played a fantastic game of football in very poor weather conditions!  The goals were scored by Niamh Tinman (2) and Millie Jones.

Y Pant Girls Under 14 Football Team – RCT Cup Winners!

girls footballOn Wednesday 12th December Y Pant U14 girls football team participated in the RCT ‘Game On’ Secondary Soccer Challenge Cup’ in Abercynon.  The team showed their prowess winning all of their matches in their group.  They then progressed to the final beating Bryncelynnog 1-0 to win the competition.

A fantastic achievement girls. Well done!

Cardiff football starsWe proudly congratulate Iwan Price-Thomas (yr7), Will Taylor (yr11) and Bailey Owen(yr7) who have each been selected for top Football Academies this summer. Bailey will train at U12 with Swansea City Academy in centre – midfield; Will has been selected for the U16 Cardiff Football academy also at centre – midfield and Iwan, also selected for Cardiff Academy will play in Goal. The boys said that they are very excited about being selected and have been enjoying their new training regimes. Gwaith Ardderchog lads!

U14 Girls Football Y Pant Beat Treorchy!

Y Pant U14 Girl’s football team continues their winning streak by beating Treorchy 6-5 after extra time! The team now proceeds to the National Stages of the Welsh Schools Football Association U14 Inter Schools Cup in January 2013. Congratulations to the whole team and a big thank you to Mr. Owen for refereeing the match.

The goals were scored by Millie Jones (1), Seren Hemburrow (1) Shannon Wiggins (2) and Kayleigh Powell (2). Good luck in the Welsh Cup girls!

Congratulations to the whole team who played a fantastic game of football.
The goal was scored by Niamh Tinman.  Good luck in the Welsh Cup girls!
